This month Liz from the Climate Action Now team at the council will be attending. As well as the Climate Action Business Forum, which meets quarterly and is open to all businesses to join, Liz is looking for small businesses to take part in a Carbon Literacy pilot project. Carbon Literacy is an accredited course where people learn about climate change and plan actions that they can take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. For businesses, it includes looking at your own sustainability. There will be up to 24 places available in the pilot project. Businesses can contact stockportcan@stockport.gov.uk for more info.
